The Stillness Programme
For the over-worked nervous system — the mind that has forgotten how to switch off. Most guests sleep through the night by the fourth day.
Teaching the body to rest again.
The Stillness Programme was designed for the over-worked nervous system — the mind that has forgotten how to switch off, the body that lies awake at three in the morning with a list. Ten nights is enough to break the cycle and teach the system, gently, how to rest again.
The spine of the programme is shirodhara — the slow, continuous stream of warm oil across the forehead that quiets the inner monologue — supported by nasya, herbal sleep prescriptions, and evening yoga nidra.
Most guests report sleeping through the night, unbroken, by around the fourth day. By the end of the stay the aim is not just better sleep but a portable calm: a handful of practices, simple enough to keep, that hold long after you leave.
The shape of your stay.
A guide, not a timetable. Your physician adapts each day to how you respond.
-
Settle Nights 1–3
Consultation, the first shirodhara sessions, and an evening routine built to wind the day down. The body begins to trust the schedule.
-
Deepen Nights 4–7
Daily shirodhara and nasya, herbal sleep support, and yoga nidra each evening. This is usually where the first unbroken nights arrive.
-
Restore Nights 8–10
Therapies ease off; the focus shifts to a sustainable routine — breath, diet, and a sleep ritual you can keep long after you leave.
